“Mile2Marathon coaching service is awesome and effective! In less than a year, Coach Dylan Wykes has helped me to achieve major milestones and personal breakthrough in my brief three years of running. While being a full time health care professional, a new father and a graduate student, Mile2Marathon coaching service has enabled me to train at my fullest potential. The training plans prescribed by Coach Dylan are truly tailored made to one’s ability and schedule. One significant achievement I made this Spring was running the Vancouver BMO 2014 full marathon at 2:58:06, a personal best of 14:30min, Top 70s, and Boston qualified. I look forward to continue working with Coach Dylan in attaining more running goals we’ve set together and completing the Boston Marathon in 2015.” Vicar Li (Vicar has since gone on to run 2:53 at the 2015 Boston Marathon!)
“Why did I choose M2M? You can tell the coaches have a real passion for the sport and seeing us hit our goals. The support and knowledge from Dylan for not just me, but all my training partners is awesome. All the PB’s I’ve collected in the past year and a half have been pretty awesome too.” Devon McGuire, improved PB 14 minutes in her first 4 months with M2M to get qualify for Boston.
“Left up to myself, my program would have seen half the gains I have with coach Watson. It’s awesome having someone create your plan. As a runner you just strap on your shoes and go. Not creating your program takes away a lot of the stress and anxiety when training.”
“I knew I wanted to work with a coach because I didn’t have the first clue about training for a marathon. I’ve decided to stick with Dylan and M2M because he is extremely knowledgeable about the sport and training. Dylan is responsive to feedback and flexible for my crazy lifestyle. And even though he is an Olympian, I’ve never felt intimidated by Dylan.” Mark Kerr, balances life with 4 kids and has managed to go from 3:37 to 3:14 and is knocking on the door of that elusive BQ.
“I met Dylan and Rob at a Forerunners Q & A session they held back in the winter of 2014. I was living in Ontario at the time but was in Vancouver for work for two months. I was still a relatively new runner at that time, and didn’t really know much of anything except what I read in the running magazines. They gave me some really good, useful advice for marathon training, and I went on to run really well at the Boston Marathon a few months later. After that I wanted to see how much I could improve as a runner, and a coach was the next logical step. I ended up transferring to Vancouver, and hooking up with Dylan through Mile2Marathon was a no-brainer. I’ve since run personal bests in almost every distance, and hopefully it will continue into the future. It’s been a great experience so far, and I’ve met so many great runners and friends as a result.” Sean Peicheff, many time sub-3:00 marathoner
“ Right off the bat, we talked about our expectations, so working with Dylan has been really easy and a lot of fun! He has been extremely supportive at my highest and lowest points and has helped me achieve my goals this year. I feel really lucky to call him my coach and a friend.” Erica Kim, has improved her ½ marathon by 30 minutes and her 10k by 11 minutes, and completed her first marathon in the past 9 months.
