Coaching Philosophy?

It’s gotta be fun, even if it’s heavy on the type two side of things. If this last year has taught us anything it’s to find joy in the little things and I strive to find a balance between pushing my athletes to be their best and not losing sight of the simple joys of training. Whether it’s on the road or cruising around on the trails, trusting the process, putting in the work, and finding joy along the way is what’s most important.

Favourite race distance and why?

I really love a little bit of everything, so I don’t currently have a favourite distance. I love the fast burn of he 5k and enjoy the planning, prep and execution of longer days on the trail. I love how shorter road distance speed work can benefit your long days on the trail and how climbing up mountains and pushing yourself on the trails can translate to speedy road times!

Favourite post-workout treat or go-to place?

Watermelon!

After long days on the trails, I’ve been known to devour an entire bag of Honey Djon Kettle Chips!
