Happy International Women’s Day!

From our women coaches to our women athletes, we’re lucky to be surrounded by so many incredible individuals at M2M!

In honor of #IWD2021, throughout the week, we’ll be posting about a number of women in athletics that inspire us (the list is endless so we’ll do our best to highlight a few!). To start, we’re looking at some of our very own M2M Athletes. Over the past few months, we’ve had the opportunity to hear some very moving stories from three of our athletes that are coached by our very own Coach Laurel. In case you missed these earlier, we want to take the opportunity to highlight them again and give these remarkable women a big shout-out!

Sarah Nathanson

A mother of two young boys, a wife, a lawyer, a runner, and a cyclist, it's hard to understand how Sarah finds the time for everything! In this Q&A from back in January, we learn how Sarah stays active with her family, how she got into running, and how she juggles her busy schedule. Thanks for sharing your story Sarah and for giving us the motivation to get out the door!

Pawan Sumra

A mother of two, recovering from breast cancer, and a dedicated runner, it's hard not to read Pawan's story and get teary (while simultaneously making you smile). From the best running advice she's received, to the person who inspires her most, this is a story that will make you feel. Thank you, Pawan for your thoughtful words and for inspiring us " to go for a run – because you can”.

Karla Decoran

A runner, artist, registered veterinary technician, and outdoor enthusiast, Karla's positive outlook and go-getter attitude are contagious. From balancing a busy schedule to her favourite running session, and a new role as an ambassador for Run Like A Girl, Karla is the definition of motivating. Thanks, Karla for sharing your story and for continuing to inspire us.
