Warm Up
15-20min (3k) + drills and strides

Workout :
Racers
4x800m with 400m rec jog
-stay in the 10-8k pace zone for the 800m and have a little bit over equal time rec jog
Not Racing:
2-3x(800m, 400m w/200m) 400m
-starting with the first 800m at 10k effort and the 400m at 5k effort/pace. Next set (or 2) at 5k pace for the 800m at sharp 400m (a second or two per lap faster than 5k pace)
Warm Down:
10-15min (2k)
-Hay is in the barn or ice is in the cooler! If you are racing this weekend – this workout is just going through the motions. If you’re not racing – give it a good go!
