Folks, after a few years of trekking we’ve finally found our way over the Rockies and into Alberta. Please join me in welcoming Bridget Pyke and Matthew Travaglini to our team of coaches.

More about Bridget & Matthew

These two have paved their way through the tracks, trails, and roads of the Calgary running community over the past few years. From our first conversation I could feel their passion and enthusiasm for the sport and their desire to help others achieve their goals.

Bridget is a physiotherapist at Complete Chiropractic and Sports Therapy in Calgary. She received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Health Physiology with Honours at the University of Calgary. She then went on to complete her Masters of Physical Therapy program at the University of Western Ontario. She was also a variety track and cross-country athlete at the University of Calgary. In recent years she’s spent time both on the track and the roads, honing her craft as an athlete and a coach. We’re excited for her to bring her fantastic base of knowledge and experience to the M2M Team.

Matthew, originally from London, ON (the home of the Rob Watson) is a student in the Schulich School of Engineering at the University of Alberta. He’s also one of the countries top runners, on the track, cross country,  roads, and even in the mountains. He’ll look to impart his knowledge and experience in these diverse range of events onto runners of all levels in the Calgary area.

Both Bridget and Matthew are now accepting new personal coaching athletes. And they are ready to dig in a contribute to the Calgary run community with weekly M2M group workouts.

M2M Coaches

Our plans for the Calgary run community

Calgary is a city rich with running history and is home to Canada’s longest running marathon – The Calgary Marathon. Our goal in Calgary is to connect with runners of all abilities and provide them with an empowering space to learn, grow and chase their running dreams.

For the month of August we will host weekly workouts on Thursday evenings. These will be structured workouts focused on providing athletes with the tools to be a better runner. Like all M2M workouts we aim to provide a fun and supportive environment, no matter your ability or experience level.

In September we will aim to add a second workout of the week to our Calgary calendar, on Monday evenings.

For the month of August, workouts will be free, and we encourage you to come out and see what we’re all about.
