About Kevin

My running journey all started when I was hit by a car and flew through the air 100 feet, landing on my head. I found solace & healing in running, which has given me purpose and transformed my life.

With a deep appreciation for the transformative power of running, I naturally transitioned into coaching. Leveraging my extensive experience as a runner, including the honor of pacing some of the top runners in the world, & two decades of traumatic brain injury rehabilitation, I offer a unique perspective to help athletes exceed their limits.

My Coaching Philosophy

Coaching to me is like taking a journey, along with my athletes, to their personal bests. I really enjoy seeing my athletes achieve their goals. I put 100% into the program and believe the athlete will, too!

Always there to motivate me to reach my goal

I cannot put enough good words for coach Kevin ! He has proven to be amazing, take care of my lifestyle, working hours, life events and always been there to motivate me to reach my goal: running a first Marathon! I feel we are only starting the journey. Thanks for everything

Interview

  • Favourite post-workout treat or go-to place?

I am a food motivated athlete. The post workout treat is sometimes as important as the workout! In Vancouver I enjoy a sweet and guey Cinamin bun from Grounds Coffee. When I am back in Ontario and hopefully ran a good race, my aunts cupcakes “take the cake”.

  • Favourite running podcast, website, book, videos, or blog?

Books: Once a Runner/Again to Carthage by John L. Parker Jr. and Daniels’ Running Formula by Jack Daniels

  • Most memorable coaching moment?

Oh there are a lot of memorable coaching moments; from the first time an athlete
runs a distance, the PB that the athlete felt was unattainable, to the first time BQing.
