About Chantelle

Chantelle ran for the University of Illinois in XC, indoor and outdoor T&F. She helped the U of I XC team to 3 top 12 finishes in the NCAA Div 1 XC Champs. In 2011 she was also the silver medalist in the 3000m steeple at the Big Ten Champs and received NCAA Div 1 All-American honours.

Post uni Chantelle ran for team Canada at the 2013 World University Games in Kazan, Russ. and was the gold medalist in the 3000m steeple.

In 2016 she switched to the trails and roads. She ran for Team Canada in Italy for the World Mountain Running Champs.

My Coaching Philosophy

The trust and teamwork that comes from coaching is 10x more satisfying than I ever imagined. I enjoy coaching athletes of all backgrounds and any goals, and since becoming a mom I have a new found joy of assisting new Moms back into training so that they feel safe and supported.

I felt confident going into my first marathon

Coach Chany is the BEST. I felt confident going into my first marathon. She supported MY goal for the race and didn't put pressure on me to run a certain time or have a specific type of race, she just wanted to help me succeed on my own terms.
